Enough!!
In a hestorical moment, a few days after the massive demonstrations that took place right in the heart of Cairo calling for a Real political reform, came the call from the president for a constitutional reform allowing free presidential elections... perhaps for the first time in Egypt's modern history.
A huge step that provokes huge questions...
- Was it a real victory for the opposition?
Tell u the truth, I don't think so. We don't have that strong oppostion afterall. I believe it was ment to be... perhaps there was some kind of pressure to move on with the political reform process anyway. You cannot ignore the latest Gorege W. Bush's radio address last week where he mentioned Egypt & K.S.A. and erged them to move forward in thier political reform & democtratization process.
- What about the aftermath?
Well, I guess it will be a total mess. No one had prepared for that kind of step. Yes, they were calling for it for a long time now but almost had no hope it will come true... at least on the short run. During the past 20 years of Mubarak's regime, he did his best to eliminate any chance for a second row {ppl to take over the power after him I mean} and I guess he succeeded in that. You don't have a known face to the majority in whom they trust and go to elect as a president. Taking that into consideration, I believe it will be a totall mess. Anyone will go for the chair... and for sure the only winner will be Mubarak eventually. We will find ppl from different islamic groups {you might find Amr Khaled himself running for it...:-D}, social idols {we already hear about Nawal El-Sa'dawy preparing fot that}, ppl from minority groups {some christian famous figures might try to go for it as well}... and of course you will find anonymous ppl supported from wealthy/filthy businessmen... You will ,simply, find anyone there.
- So what about the afterall results?
Mubarak's Regime winning for sure but this time with a democtratic camoflgue perhaps will decrease the pressure put on him from the outside world. On the other side, it will give him another 6 years to prepare for his success which I assume will be Omar Soliman or any other military figure... first be appointing him as vice president after two years from now and then letting him take over the whole thing. In the mean time, they will be doing there best to alter Gamal's picture which became not that prefect afterall. I assume he will run for the first presidential election campaigne after Omar shall rule with a new polished face as our only hope for a real democracy..!!
Whether all those assumptions I made came true or not, we know one fact for sure...

Exorcist; The Begining...
"... & The Fallens shall rise in a river of blood"
I guess that phrase is "all" what have been echoeing inside the minds of the creators of the Exorcist movie as it turn out to be a Bloody movie nothing more... :-)
I dunno why I didn't enjoy it that much. I mean it was somehow expected to find it as bloody as it really was. However, I admit that, I was shocked by the excessive -unnecessary- several scenes of blood during the whole movie.
I couldn't figure a real theme or story behind it all... I did not enjoy the script... & for sure I hated the casting as well.
So to cut it short, I think of it as a total failure that don't even deserve the ticket I paid to watch it.
Though, the only one advantage of that expreience was watching a horror movie in the cinema for the first time in my life. I gotta admit it, I really enjoyed the sound effects alot... :-P
