That was an excerpt from the song [Gangsta's Paradise- Coolio] that has been echoeing in my mind all day long. It's my 23 Birthday in case you didn't figure. I'm not sure actually how could I explain this for you but for many years now I've always had that "thought" that I'm gonna die on 24 and I guess now, after finishing my 23rd year, I became rather obsessed by the idea that I only got one year left to go!!
Anyhow, that's not what it matters now... I'd enjoy what is left no matter how long or short it is.
I celebrated my birthday alone this year as it has been the case almost all the time. The thing is I'm not sad. Perhaps I got used to it... Perhaps I'm just fooling myself... However, I usually do my best to enjoy myself this day.
For a couple of years now, I've had that routine that I follow each time...
A backage of Red-Marlboro
A can of Pepsi [couldn't find it this time though, so I brought Cola instead..:-D]
A bag fulled with different bars of Chocolates [Man!! those chocolates cost a fortune these days..:-S]
Isn't it ironic how the top 3 things that I enjoy are the top 3 things that will get u killed?!!
Anyhow, I then head to one of my favourite places on this planet beside my old good "WhaterWheel". We ve ,in our town, many waterwheels but only one of them attracted me throughtout my life. It became one of my best friends ever.
If you ve been ever in this place, you'd know why I love it.
First, Water Wheels usually make a noise that you can never hear anything else. So I'd have the chance to sing out loud without worrying that anyone could hear me..:-P
Secondly, this special one has a unique classic outfit. Though it's placed with a couple of others, it's always so different & shining. And although, it's been maintained & renewed many times, it still has that magic of old times. It even turns around with a different speed than the others, no matter how many times they tried to fix it.
I just wanted to thank my old friend for always being there with me...
Heba , Fatimah, Biko, Saso, Sally, Sarah & SueSue... You all really made my day with your sweet words.
&Finally You... I won't thank you, I'd thank God for giving me such a little precious gift as you in my life.
Happy Birthday for me one more time..:-)

What a thought to have on a birthday!!
Come on, enjoy ur life, even if it’s only one day that is left.
And guess what?! I envy u for the way u spent ur birthday.. it doesn’t matter whether u r alone or with people, all what matters is u enjoyed what u did.

well um lil bit late :D bass anyways dont worry i never thought i ll be ever 21 and now they say um 24 thoughi still feel like 6 y old ........ i hate el btaye2
